Our Mission
Leadership Now empowers youth (and adults) to be compassionate leaders in the church and in the world. We celebrate diversity and seek justice. We strive to help individuals discern their gifts and calling. We embrace traditional practices in new and inventive way. We encourage people of all ages to grow in their faith and find the sacred through transformative study, worship and play. We seek to BE communion and Beloved community sharing the love of Christ in all that we do.
Our Vision
Leadership Now's day events, weekend retreats, and summer programs strive to
- Encourage youth to think theologically and to discern their gifts and callings for leadership in the church, community, and world
- Empower and educate leaders, both youth and adult
- Grow intentionally in diversity
- Foster relationships and shared ministries with churches and denominations
- Challenge assumptions and broaden understanding of youth and youth ministry
