Leadership Now

We offer year round programming for junior high and high school youth, offering a range of programs varying in duration, intensity, age group, size and theme. This schedule provided youth with opportunities for different levels of participation, starting with short events such as Confirmation Days and the Youth Event that introduce students to the seminary. The next level of events include our weekend retreats, these thematic retreats (Justice Summit, Girls Gathering and Guys and God) offer youth opportunities to explore theological issues more deeply with seminarians and members of the faculty. Finally our summer programming, including the Leadership Academy and Summer Global Experience, were our most intensive, providing leadership skills, theological education and a supportive community to youth already active in their faith communities and many times experiencing a call to ministry.

The Leadership Academy is a week-long event for youth who are in high school or entering high school in the Fall.  It is not simply a summer camp; it's a community of young people, led by young people, built around a desire to explore deep questions about faith and life.  If you are interested in conversation and community this is a place for you.
